Blink Respawn 2025
Global Esports in Santo Domingo
Santo Domingo turned into a two-hall arena for three days of non-stop competition at Sambil, with 1,481 competitive participants from 26+ countries chasing trophies, glory, and spots on the world stage. From Street Fighter 6 and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate to Valorant, League of Legends, and more, Blink Respawn 2025 felt equal parts festival and finals.

Latin America’s Gateway to the Capcom Cup
Respawn 2025 hosted Street Fighter 6 as an official Capcom Pro Tour Premier—the only Premier stop in Latin America this season—granting the champion an automatic berth to Capcom Cup, with Esports World Cup (EWC) implications in play. That status drew top-tier international talent and put the Dominican Republic in the global spotlight.
Mortal Kombat 1 also counted toward the Pro Kompetition, making every set and point matter on the road to Final Kombat.
How the Action Unfolded
Friday kicked the doors open with stacked pools across both halls and early upsets that set the tone.
Saturday delivered wall-to-wall pop-offs—pixel-health comebacks in SF6 and MK1, a Smash surge that had phones out for every stock, and packed blocks of Tekken, LoL, Free Fire, and more.
Sunday crowned champions on a roaring main stage: chants rolling, trophies lifted, and the kind of last-game magic that keeps people talking all week.
